Pretty good stuff guys, but one of the participants sounded like he was the Pyro from TF2… “MmmmmMMMMMM!!!”

That was lupis.

You guys didn’t talk about me this episode. Why else would I listen through an entire 1:45 podcast. Plus it feels a little insulting.
April 10, 2008 at 4:51 pm
Maybe I should release the director’s cut, it includes about 13 minutes of us talking about how much we hate ByTor when we’re on the other team.
April 10, 2008 at 5:44 pm
That would be pretty funny.
April 10, 2008 at 5:46 pm
I’d listen.

I’m curious to read what everybody else submitted for Chuck’s Peggle contest (besides Vagabond’s porno-romp, which was pretty good).
For the hopelessly masochistic, Here’s mine:
Magical rabbits, haunted pinballs, and fuzzy pastel backgrounds. Still interested? You should be. Peggle’s concept is simple: launch a ball from the top of the screen into a group of multicolored pegs. Through precision and luck, massive points can be accrued by hitting numerous combinations of pegs before the ball disappears through the bottom of the screen. Clear all the orange pegs without running out of balls and you eventually graduate to higher levels, which brings new power-ups (attained by tagging elusive green pegs) granted by different cuddly mentors. While some powers teeter on bizarre, such as a pair of crab-claw pinball flippers, other powers like the trajectory optimizing Zen-ball are godly. While the core game play mechanic stays uniform throughout, there’s enough content in the unlockable bonus challenges to keep you busy for months. Peggle may not contain any nanosuits or gravity guns, but it’s pure bliss nonetheless.

Great review, Havoc06! I didn’t enter but I wish I had. What did everyone else give it for a score?

April 12, 2008 at 9:56 pm

April 13, 2008 at 2:55 pm
It’s doubtful that they do, or many people do for that matter, but hey. I’m just doing this because it’s fun to nerd-out with you guys, I could care less if we recorded and released them

Next episode officially titled: “How not to host a podcast, by Havoc06.” Ghost hands, cell phones, and lots of talking over the participants! Make sure to take notes!
On the plus side: some great topics discussed, Andrew Noland is strangely vocal, and find out why Kurzon once threw a computer out of a 3 story window. Tune in, and spread the news! See y’all there.
